She completed her M.B.B.S. from Government Medical College, Srinagar, in 2006, followed by M.S. in Ophthalmology from Government Medical College, Jammu, in 2011. She subsequently gained experience through senior residency positions at leading medical institutions and completed a Fellowship in Orbit & Oculoplasty from Sankara Eye Hospital, Bengaluru, from 2017 to 2019.
