DR RAJINDER KUMAR

Dr. Rajinder Kumar earned his MBBS from Govt. Medical College, Jammu (J&K) and has a MD (Psychiatry) from Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP), Ranchi. Dr. Rajinder Kumar has worked at the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS), Delhi; Lady Harding Medical College, New Delhi; All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi; Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak and ESI-PGIMSR, Basaidarapur, New Delhi in the past. He also served as faculty in the department of Psychiatry at GMC, Jammu. Dr. Rajinder Kumar has almost 2 decades of experience in psychiatry, having worked in several clinical settings, private as well as government. He is also the course director for psychology internship programmes at Dimaagi Mind Care and Research Centre. He has delivered a TEDx talk titled "Learning Mood Disorders: Struggles and Triumphs of A Psychiatrist". He has penned down a collection of poems titled "आओ फिर से मिट्टी बन जाएं " based on his personal memoirs, experiences and observations. His areas of interest are mood disorders, addiction psychiatry and community outreach activities.
