Dr. Rajinder Kumar is a well known psychiatrist based in Jammu (J&K). Having worked in several psychiatrist settings, Dr. Rajinder Kumar has 17 years of relevant experience. Currently he is working with Pulse Hospital and Research Centre, Jammu (J&K) as a consultant psychiatrist. Dr. Rajinder Kumar has worked at Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS), Delhi; Lady Harding Medical College, New Delhi; All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi; Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences and Research & ESI Model Hospital, Basaidarapur, New Delhi in the past. More recently he has also served as a faculty in the department of Psychiatry at Govt. Medical College, Jammu (J&K) from 2020 to 2023. Dr. Rajinder Kumar earned his MBBS from Govt. Medical College, Jammu (J&K) and has a MD (Psychiatry) from Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP), Ranchi. He specializes in the treatment of various psychiatric disorders like anxiety disorders, depression and other mood disorders, psychosis, substance use (addiction) disorders, and childhood behavioural disorders. His areas of interest are mood disorders, de-addiction psychiatry and community outreach programs.
